Each team's active participation and commitment will be assessed by ShiftKey Labs (SK).
Rounds Description
Round 1: Brainstorming + Low Fidelity
The first round kicks off with brainstorming sessions where teams ideate and conceptualize their projects. Participants are also required to conduct a thorough literature review to underpin their ideas with existing research, ensuring a solid foundation for their innovations.
Round 2: High Fidelity Prototype
Moving into the third round, participants will refine their ideas into high-fidelity prototypes. This stage demands a higher level of detail and closer consideration of the user experience, preparing the projects for real-world application.
Round 3: Final Pitch
The fourth and final round is the culmination of the teams' hard work. Participants will present their polished prototypes and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. This round is not just about the technical aspects but also about how effectively teams communicate their vision and the potential impact of their projects.
- Each team, after submission on Devpost, will showcase their demo to qualify for the final pitch.
- Final Screening: There will be a screening for all teams before the final round pitch.
- This will be max 2-minute demo and a Q&A session around the technology you used.
- The screening will take place in the atrium, so once you have made the final submission, find a spot in the atrium for your team. Make sure your team is set up asap.
- You do not need your presentation slide-deck for the screening.
- Based on this round, 8 teams will be selected to pitch in front of everyone in the auditorium.
- Final Pitch:
- The 8 selected teams will have 5 minutes to pitch their project.
- A 2-minute Q&A session will follow, conducted by the judges.
